New Year's Eve
I wonder if there was a guy in charge of keeping the date back in the day and he messed up. What if New Years Day wasn't tomorrow? What if it was like 56 days ago and that date tracker guy messed up big time? Who knows? Anyways if today is the last day before 2008 ends, it was a good year. I've learned a whole lot about myself. I think I've mellowed out ever since I got to Falmouth. I rarely get angry now which is awesome. Another plus, is that I'm less stubborn which is a huge achievement for me since out of everybody I know, I'm the most stubborn. I've also learned to try to help people out as much as I can. My goal in life: Be a good person and have fun doing whatever I do.
Today I went to Helston Skatepark for the first time. I'm totally amazed that I've never seen it because every time we go to Porthleven to check out the waves we stop by Liddels which is a super cheap store in the UK. The skatepark is pretty huge and it's right next to the store. Anyways there was a halfpipe, two fun boxes, a rail, a box, two roll ins, a few tranny type stuff etc etc. I just pretty much focused on getting air in the halfpipe so when it comes to riding waves, I can do my aerials. The "trick" I figured out today was a rock to fakie. For some reason it freaked me out. For the trick you go down one side come back up the opposite ramp and have your board go over the coping and then go back down backwards. I could go up and get into the trick but I had trouble staying on and going back down backwards. My friends were leaving soon so I had to do it soon. Eventually I stuck it going both ways, rock to fakie and fakie to regular. Fakie means going backwards pretty much. So anyways I'm glad I did that before the "new" year came.
I'm pretty content with my life right now. I'm extremely blessed with the amazing opportunity to study something I love in a foreign country. I have good people around me. When I say good people, that includes my family and friends from back home too. Everything is cool and I hope it stays that way for years to come and maybe, for the rest of my life. I just have to find the right girl and I'm set.
I hope everybody has a wicked time tonight. Not just tonight but for the rest of your lives.
Peace and Love dudes!

Perfect Symmetry
I like it but some of the songs remind me of The Killers or should I say: Some of the songs by The Killers are a bit Keane?

No more Levi's Store at SCP
I just found out that the Levis store at South Coast Plaza doesn't exist anymore. Not sure how long ago it happened but what a bummer that is.

Rob Machad and Pat talking about some Foam
Let's hope boards get better and better for mother earth.
Best Surf Film
My favorite surf film so far:
It takes you on a journey around the world. Luckily for them, most places they go to only require boardshorts. Has a killer soundtrack. My favorite song plays when they're in Indo(also plays during the trailer). I've named the song OooOooOoo since I haven't been able to find it but I do know the artist's named is Smiddi and they do have a myspace so you should google them and check them out! One of the best parts of the film is that there's a guy in it that surfs a black twin fin the entire time. So gnarly!

Lil Grafik Dezine
Rob Machado is my hero since he never gets flustered and everything is always cool. This is why I made him blue because it equals coolness. Yellow background for his energy.
When you go, do it with some flow:
Here's something a bit more graphic. My friend Ben came up with the ideas and I finalized them...kinda. This one's called Open Your Heart:

Xmas+Boxing Day Surf.
I went to Godrevy for the first time with my new 5'8 epoxy board which I didn't let myself surf till xmas day. It surfs completely different from any board I've ever ridden. I think because of the shape it's a lot looser. On the day after xmas I went to St. Agnes with the epoxy board and it was the first time I've seen St. Agnes super choppy. Anyways I had a really nice right and it was the first time I rode the board the "correct" way aka super loose and flowy.
Godrevy(not on xmas day and not photographed by me)
